Before updating

  1. Select the correct hardware kit and firmware.
  2. Connect the controller using a USB data cable.
  3. Apply power to the controller if required.
  4. Use Chrome or Edge on a desktop computer.
  5. Choose the ESP32 serial device when prompted.
  6. Do not disconnect USB or power during the update.
▣ Not sure which COM port your board is using?

Find the board in Windows Device Manager

  1. Connect the selected controller by USB.
  2. Right-click Start and open Device Manager.
  3. Expand Ports (COM & LPT).
  4. Look for USB Serial Device, USB JTAG/serial, CP210x USB to UART Bridge, or CH340.
  5. Note its COM number and select that same port in the updater.

Tip: Unplug the cable and watch which port disappears, then reconnect it and confirm which port returns.

⚠ IMPORTANT

Firmware intended for different hardware may cause incorrect operation. Confirm both selections before installing, and never disconnect the controller during an update.

This browser does not support Web Serial. Use Chrome or Edge on a desktop computer.
Firmware installation requires a secure HTTPS connection.
